Japanese Cherry and Yen Tu Yellow Ochna blossoms to shine in Ha Long

According to the information released by the Ha Long City People’s Committee, a cultural festival featuring Japanese cherry blossoms and Vietnam’s Yen Tu yellow ochna flowers is scheduled to kick off from March 11-15, 2017 at 30/10 Square.

Under the theme “Integration, Cooperation and Development”, the festival will include Vietnam-Japan cultural exchange activities, an art light show, an exhibition display OCOP products of Quang Ninh as well as introduction of tourism, culture, and products of both Japan and Vietnam.

The festival’s centre of attention will be the display of 5,000 branches and 50 Japanese cherry and Yen Tu yellow ochna trees.

As a part of the festival, there will be conferences to promote investment in trade and tourism between the two countries, as well as the investment cooperation in tourism development among enterprises of Japan and Ha Long city.
